A new $20 million apartment complex holding 92 units by Kraus-Anderson is scheduled to open in St. Paul on Oct. 21.

The building, 590 Park Apartments, is located near the state Capitol, Regions Hospital and the Green Line. Designed by UrbanWorks Architecture and owned by Engelsma Limited Partnership, the apartment complex offers six stories of micro-units of various sizes.

Monthly rent for each unit will vary between $1,100 and $1,400, Kraus-Anderson officials said.

Amenities include a private kitchen, club room, fitness center, patio, dog run, game room and lounge. Each unit will also have its own laundry facilities.

“The exceptional location in the historic Capitol Heights neighborhood of St. Paul also adds to 590 Park’s appeal,” said Matt Alexander, senior vice president of Kraus-Anderson, said in a statement. “We have expressly created the space with the high-design efficiency of micro, studio and smaller units for the contemporary use of professionals.”

The apartment complex will be located at 590 Park St.
